Space Plan / BIIMO — Diagnostic

Space Plan runs an internal venture studio; the Startup Diagnostic evaluated whether BIIMO, one of its incubated ventures, should spin out.

Space Plan, a Brazilian operator across Latin America, runs an internal venture studio incubating products adjacent to its core business. BIIMO reached spinout consideration stage but still carried uncertainty on external-market readiness.

Leadership needed an independent assessment before committing additional resources. Internal analysis was available, but an outside structured lens was required to reduce institutional bias in the decision.

Legitimacy and desirability: Competitive landscape review, buyer pull, and external credibility for BIIMO's category.

Acceptability and feasibility: Current product state, channel readiness, technical differentiation, and standalone commercialization path.

Viability: Business model readiness, IP posture, resource needs, and structural defensibility mapping.

Recommendation: Teixeira Framework recommendation delivered in a 60-minute leadership debrief.

The diagnostic produced a decision-ready external lens for spinout planning. Final bucket recommendation and post-diagnostic spinout actions are pending publication approval.

Arkus did not make the spinout decision. The recommendation was one input in Space Plan's internal governance process.

This is by design: Startup Diagnostic is a decision lens, not the final answer. Ownership of the decision remains with the operator.
